Please note: GoalMaker currently only runs on Windows platforms - sorry Mac users - we are looking at redeveloping the next version using Java and XML plus a web-based version. |
Develop Your Mission |
Declare who you are and what you want to accomplish |
Identify Your Roles |
List all those areas in your life that are important to you and a vision for each role. This gives you balance in your business, in your career and in your relationships. |
Determine Your Long Term Goals |
The GoalMaker process leads you through a step by step method of setting long term goals in all of your life's roles and enables you to document your overall strategies. |
Prepare Your Action Plan |
GoalMaker leads you through a simple method of breaking your long term goals into manageable pieces, short term goals, and tasks. |
Use Your "To Do List" |
List all of the tasks you need to do today or this week, prioritised to keep you on track towards your important goals. Print it out so you can always have it with you. |
Review Your Short-Term Goals |
Set and review your weekly goals. These too are prioritised to keep you on track towards your important goals. |
Check In |

Measure Your Progress |
Evaluate your progress towards achieving your goals and view that progress in graph form. For certain tasks, measurement records are automatically created against the goal to which the task relates, as you flag each task as done. |
Review & Balance Your Roles & Goals |
Use GoalMaker's Outline facility to view all of your roles, goals and tasks in a tree structure (similar to File Manager under Windows). Expand or collapse the tree or specific branches. |
Celebrate Your Wins |
As you achieve each goal it is automatically placed in your Wins List. Review this list and celebrate your progress! |
Review The Graphs |
Compare your original targets against your actual progress. Adjust your targets or your priorities. |
List the People in your Team or Organization |

Print Goal and Task Lists by Person |
Now you can print your Goal and Task lists sorted by the person to whom the goals and tasks are assigned. |
Enable or Disable Security |
It's up to you whether or not you enable security, but once you
do the following features are available: |
Track it All |
A total action plan in one place, a step by step process for you
to achieve those things in life that you deserve. |
Version 3 of GoalMaker is primarily a total upgrade to bring it up to date with the latest Windows platforms, however we took the opportunity to add a lot of additional features requested by GoalMaker Users.
Notes |
All the way through GoalMaker you can enter free format notes either to provide additional information or to leave reminders for yourself. |
Customization |
You can now change some of the terminology to suit your own style. e.g. you may prefer to refer to Functions, Major Goals and Minor Goals instead of the default Roles, Long Term Goals and Short Term Goals. You can change or replace the Categories and Sub-Categories used in the Check-In screen. |
Outlook |
GoalMaker will now synchronize Tasks with Outlook. And of course Outlook will synchronize with your Pocket PC. Any Tasks flagged as complete in Outlook will also be flagged as Done in GoalMaker next time you synchronize. |
Getting Started |
The process of getting started has been redesigned to make it a lot more intuitive. |
Registration and Support |
This process has also been redesigned to make it much easier to register your Trial GoalMaker and to get support from the GoalMaker web site. |
Integrated Outline |
The Outline screen has been substantially redesigned to allow you to more easily set and review your goals and tasks. From the one screen you can enter all of the basic information about each component, with more detailed information available via the Edit button or double-click. |
Mission, Roles and Values |
These can now be entered on the one screen allowing you to keep in mind how each relates to the other. |
Goals and Values |
When looking in detail at each Long Term Goal you can now list the Values the Goal is in alignment with. |
Pictures |
You can now link Picture files to each Goal to provide a visual cue for the goal. |
Dates |
A Pop-up calendar is available for easier selection of due dates. |
Tool Bar and Menus |
The Tool Bar has been simplified to concentrate on most common items. The Menus have been redesigned to assist you in finding the best screen for the job at hand. |
Documentation |
The GoalMaker User Manual has now been integrated with the GoalMaker Help file - available via the Help Menu or F1. Additional Tutorials are available via the Help button on the Toolbar. |
Start off with the single user version of GoalMaker, then upgrade to either 10 User or Unlimited User access depending on the size of your Team or Organization.
The 10 User registration allows up to 10 users to concurrently share the same Goals Database. GoalMaker is installed on each User's PC but they all share the same Goals Database on your server.
With the Unlimited User registration you can have as many Users as you like sharing the same Goals Database.
Download GoalMaker's Free Trial and get started today! If you are happy with GoalMaker after your trial, register your copy to have access to all its features.
